About Kendreka Griffin
Kendreka Griffin is a passionate first-generation graduate, entrepreneur, and Certified Student coach. Her journey is rooted in healing, purpose, and creativity—transforming personal challenges into powerful platforms for change.
In high school, Kendreka was a dedicated Montezuma NJROTC member for four years, leading the Unarmed Exhibition Drill Team and gaining early experience in discipline, confidence, and leadership. Her love for the arts led her to study vocal music in college, performing in multiple choirs and bands, and dancing professionally for a semi-pro football league.
Kendreka earned her business degree with honors from Southern New Hampshire University. There, she courageously shared her personal story with the student community, becoming a voice of encouragement for those facing anxiety and depression. Her resilience not only fueled her academic success but also helped inspire healing within her own family.
Professionally, she has served as an executive sales assistant for a marketing firm, where she traveled, connected with diverse businesses, and collaborated on B2B strategies to meet community needs. Now, as the founder of K. Virtually, Kendreka empowers small businesses through creative marketing, branding, and advertising support.
As a certified student coach, Kendreka has found a natural step in her heart to help young people navigate life’s transitions with courage and vision.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kendreka celebrates life by traveling, walking scenic trails, discovering new food spots, and creating joy-filled moments with her nieces and nephews. Karaoke nights and meaningful conversations fuel her spirit.
Known for her powerful voice—both in song and encouragement—Kendreka lives by the quote, “Joy is not made to be a crumb.” by Mary Oliver, reminding herself and others to pursue joy in its fullness. Kendreka continues to be a bold light for those around her—proving that healing is possible, dreams are worth chasing, and every story has the power to impact lives.
What is Student Coaching?
The Student Coaching program pairs students (ages 13-21) with a highly-trained student coach to hone in on their unique growth areas and equip them with the real-world skills they need to succeed, both inside the classroom and beyond. In addition to 1:1 coaching calls, they work together through training modules, assessments, videos, and more as part of our Student’s Edge curriculum. Parents are kept appraised of progress milestones with frequent progress reports.
