She went on to build a long and successful career in the insurance industry, earning licenses in life, health, annuities, property, and casualty, as well as holding a Series 63 securities license. As an independent insurance agent, Elexis consistently achieved client retention rates over 76% — well above the industry average — while building a thriving practice that allowed her to support her family as a single parent.

In addition to professional education, she has earned over 15 professional certifications in health and wellness, is a Certified Nutritionist, a Master Personal Trainer, and a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
